GOA UNIVERSITY FOOTBALL TEAM wins the West Zone Inter university Football Championship

GOA UNIVERSITY FOOTBALL TEAM : The Champions of West Zone Inter university Football Championship at Jabalpur.
Mormugao contribution in Goa University winning team:
1.Team Manager: Dr Elroy Pinto, ST. JOSEPH VAZ COLLEGE, CORTALIM.                       
2. Coach: Dr Savio Fernandes, MES COLLEGE,  Zuarinagar.
3. Team Captain: Mr. Britto Pereira,  ST. JOSEPH VAZ COLLEGE, CORTALIM.
Britto scored 3 goals and was also adjudged the Best Forward of the Tournament.                               
4. Team members: Mr Stalen Lucas scored 3 goals in the tournament, Mr Edson Souza scored 1 goal and Mr Rahul Chawan was a rock for Goa University in defence. All the 3 students are from MES COLLEGE, ZUARINAGAR.

Pratik Naik of ST XAVIERS COLLEGE MAPUSA, was highest scorer for Goa with 5 goals.
