Human Chain for Mhadei
An environmental community engagement festival planned for the 20th of May 2023 from 4 pm. Organised by Goa Heritage Action Group and Earthivist collective.
Entitled “Mhadei Amchi Mai”, the event aims to bring people in Goa together to pray for the health of our lifeline, River Mhadei. This will be a time for people to come together, connect with the river and pray for her wellbeing.
The organisers have informed that this will involve forming a human prayer chain, starting at the end of Miramar Beach to the Santa Monica Jetty, with art and music along the beach and promenade.
