The Holy Church says, “Consecrating a family or parish community is a wonderful way to draw closer together, united in love by the Holy Spirit. The Consecration shall take place during Holy mass at 7am and 9.30am where the faithful shall gather and pray as a community, followed by a rite wherein they shall consecrate themselves through an act of consecration under the direction of Parish Priest, Fr. Derick Fernandes.

The Parish Priest, Fr. Derick Fernandes remarked, “The goal of the consecration is to strengthen the identity of each family as a household of faith, a domestic church and also to reawaken the commitment within the parish, charisms and inspire new avenues for service within the Parish and then extend the same to others”.

Further, at 3.30pm there will be a rosary rally with the statue of Our Lady of Fatima through the village, wherein the pilgrims shall walk throughout the rally as a sign of prayer, penance and sacrifice as requested by Our Lady to the 3 children at Fatima. With prayerful reflections of the mysteries of the rosary and Marian hymns recited, alongside a candle lit procession, the rosary procession shall comprise of prayers specifically interceding for the common issues recognized in the families of the parish, invoking the intercession of the Blessed Mother for her assistance, her guidance and presence to secure our entire Parish in Christ.
