On the solemn occasion of Palm Sunday, which marks the beginning of Holy Week and the remembrance of Jesus’ suffering, a new prayer book titled “Jezu Amcho Bhorvanso” was officially released at the Bicholim Church. The prayer book was unveiled in the hands of Fr. Eusico Periera and Fr. Caetano Rosario Dourado.
This prayer book is written by Fr. Soccoro Rebelo, assistant Parish Priest of Our Lady of Grace Church, Bicholim. This book emphasizes a profound truth: Jesus is our ultimate source of hope and peace. In our busy, challenging world, it is easy to feel burdened by worries, but through this prayer book, the faithful are invited to experience the calming presence of Christ through Adoration before the Blessed Sacrament.
Whether used in personal prayer or during group prayer services, “Jezu Amcho Bhorvanso” guides individuals to reflect on Jesus’ immense love and the peace He offers. The prayer book reminds us that no matter what situations we face in life—whether joy or suffering—Jesus remains our refuge, our hope, and our strength. As we sit in His presence, we open our hearts to receive His grace, comfort, and peace.
