The Patriarchal Seminary of Rachol, in collaboration with the Good Shepherd Institute of Theology, is organizing a Theological and Pastoral Formation Course for the Lay Faithful for the academic year 2025–2026. Titled Exploring the Teachings of the Catechism of the Catholic Church, this course is designed to deepen participants’ understanding of the core teachings of the Catholic faith. The curriculum focuses on four key areas: The Profession of Faith, The Celebration of the Christian Mystery, Life in Christ, and Christian Prayer. The program spans eight months, featuring thirteen Sunday input sessions from June 2025 to January 2026, and culminates with a Diploma Day. Each session includes the Holy Eucharist, insightful lectures, and scheduled breaks. Participants who achieve a minimum of 90% attendance will be awarded a diploma.
