The Konkni Daiz Trust, in collaboration with Sahityik Ani Sonskrutik Daiz, has announced a Short Story Writing Competition (Mottvio Kotha Borounchi Spordha) to encourage Konkani literary talent.
The competition is open in two categories. Bhag I (Children’s Literature) invites original short stories of 350–500 words, while Bhag II (Adult Literature) is for original short stories of 1,500–2,000 words. Entries must be unpublished and original. Participants may enter either or both categories.
Winners will receive cash prizes of ₹2,000 (First Prize), ₹1,500 (Second Prize), and ₹1,000 (Third Prize), along with certificates and mementoes. Selected entries will be published in book form, and complimentary copies will be presented to the authors.
