On September 14, 2026, Legio Mariae association hosted a vibrant day program, titled, ‘Camping with Mother Mary,’ at Our Lady of Grace Church Hall, Margao. The event brought together enthusiastic children representatives from the Margao Comitium, Raia Comitium, and Mapusa Comitium for a day centered on spiritual growth and leadership.
The day commenced at 9:30 AM with a prayer, inaugural ceremony, and welcome dance, followed by inspiring spiritual discourses. Fr. Franky Fernandes (Spiritual Director of Junior Curia, Margao) shared words of wisdom on being a true leader, while Rev. Fr. Agnel Fernandes facilitated a session resolving practical challenges.
Interactive icebreaker games, group enactments, group dynamics (‘Synergy Sprint’), and music kept the young participants engaged throughout the day.The event concluded in the evening with a vote of thanks, closing prayer, and a shared sense of fellowship.
