The AICUF Cell of Rosary College of Commerce & Arts was formally inaugurated on 19th August 2026 at the Seminar Hall, marking the beginning of its activities for the academic year 2026–2027.
The programme commenced with a prayer service, followed by the formal welcome of the resource person Fr. Kevin Fernandes, the assistant parish priest of Holy Cross Church, Verna. In his welcome address, Principal Prof. Helic M. Barretto emphasized the need for students to remain rooted in Jesus Christ and develop empathy and compassion and sensitivity towards the downtrodden and less privileged and to contribute meaningfully to society.
The highlight of the programme was an inspiring session by Fr. Kevin Fernandes on the theme “Abide in Me.” He encouraged students to remain rooted in Jesus Christ and to reflect their faith through love, kindness, patience, compassion and service to others.
Asst. Prof. Zuzeth Cardoso introduced the AICUF Cell, explaining its vision, mission and logo. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Mr. Joel John Esteves, President of the AICUF Cell. The programme was compered by Miss Analisa Barretto.
The inauguration marked a meaningful beginning to the AICUF activities, inspiring students to translate their faith into compassionate service to society.
