On 18th February 2026, the AICUF Cell of Rosary College of Commerce and Arts proudly hosted the XIV All Goa Inter-Collegiate Bible Quiz – BIBLO-Q XIV, bringing together young minds from seven colleges across Goa under the inspiring theme, “Pilgrims of Faith.”
The inaugural ceremony began with a solemn prayer service, setting a reflective tone for the day. The gathering was formally welcomed by Rev. Prof. Jeronimho D’Silva, Vice Principal of the college, who encouraged participants to view the quiz as a journey into the richness of Scripture.
The quiz was conducted by Rev. Fr. Movin Menezes, whose engaging style and insightful questions transformed the event into an enriching exploration of the Bible. The rounds tested the teams’ biblical knowledge, confidence, and teamwork, creating an atmosphere of healthy and spirited competition.
After a closely contested session, a team from Dempo College of Commerce and Economics secured First Place. The winning team comprised Mr. Hayden Anthony Fernandes and Ms. Cleva Bina Gomes. Second Place was bagged by the team from Padre Conceicao College of Engineering consisting of Mr. Adrian Joseph Fernandes and Mr. Wendel Dominic Fernandes. Third Place was claimed by the team from Nirmala Institute of Education. consisting of Ms. Zelita Sera Dias and Ms. Elita Valanka Siqueira.
The valedictory function was presided over by Prof. Helic M. Barretto, Principal, who congratulated the winners and appreciated the efforts of all participating colleges. Participation certificates were distributed to all teams.
The programme concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks proposed by Asst. Prof. Tracy Almeida e Aguiar, Convenor of the AICUF Cell. Beyond the prizes and accolades, BIBLO-Q XIV reaffirmed that when faith and knowledge unite, they inspire young minds to grow not only intellectually, but spiritually as well.
