CCBI Youth Commission Calls for Day of Prayer and Solidarity with the Youth of our Nation

The CCBI Youth Commission has issued a circular inviting all dioceses, parishes, religious communities, youth movements, and Catholic educational institutions across the country to observe Sunday, 26 July 2026, as a Day of Prayer and Solidarity with the Youth of Our Nation. The initiative calls upon the faithful to pray for young people who are peacefully voicing their concerns and seeking fairness, transparency, justice, and a secure future.

The circular encourages local Churches to organise Candlelight Prayer Vigils, Candlelight Walks, Eucharistic Adoration, or special Prayer Services, while also including special intentions for the youth during Sunday Eucharistic celebrations. Emphasising that this is a compassionate and prayerful response rather than a political one, the CCBI Youth Commission urges the faithful to accompany young people with hope, understanding, and prayer, entrusting them to the care of Mary, Mother of Hope.

The circular issued by the CCBI Youth Commission is attached below for your reference.
