The 349th Anniversary of the Letter of Bondage of St. Joseph Vaz will be celebrated with great devotion and solemnity on 5th August 2026.
We remember with gratitude his total surrender to God and his unwavering commitment to the service of the Church. Through this sacred act, he offered himself completely to Christ, embracing a life of humility, sacrifice, and missionary zeal.
His words and witness continue to inspire us to renew our own dedication to God and to serve others with love and generosity. May the example of St. Joseph Vaz encourage us to place our trust in the Lord and faithfully carry out our Christian vocation.
The celebration will begin at 4:15 p.m. with the recitation of the Rosary, of St. Joseph Vaz preparing the faithful for the Eucharistic celebration. This will be followed by a Solemn Holy Mass.
After the Holy Mass, a special blessing will be imparted to all the men present, seeking God’s grace upon their lives, families, and responsibilities. Cars and bikes brought by the faithful will also be blessed, invoking God’s protection and safe journeys for all.
