The President of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of India (CBCI), Cardinal Poola, issued a Circular on 17th June 2026 designating Sunday, 28th June 2026, as a National Day of Prayer for our Country.
Our Archbishop has followed it with a Circular of his own for our Archdiocese, dated 18th June 2026, calling the faithful of the Archdiocese to observe two special Days of Prayer: 21st June 2026 as a Day of Prayer for timely and sufficient rain, and 28th June 2026 as a Day of Prayer for the Nation. The Archbishop has encouraged all the faithful to participate actively in these prayer initiatives, seeking God’s blessings upon the nation and praying for favorable weather conditions for the well-being of all.
