The Council for Social Justice and Peace (CSJP) has urged citizens to actively participate in the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the electoral rolls and take this important civic exercise seriously to ensure accurate and up-to-date voter records.
The Election Commission of India has announced the Special Intensive Revision in Goa to ensure that the electoral rolls are accurate and up to date – adding new eligible voters, correcting existing details, and removing names of ineligible or deceased electors. The SIR has begun on 4th November 2025 with house-to-house enumeration, and will continue until 4th December 2025.
