DIACONATE ORDINATION

Most Rev. Filipe Neri Ferrão, the Archbishop Patriarch of Goa and Daman conferred the Order of Diaconate to six seminarians during a solemn ceremony held at the Patriarchal Seminary of Rachol on 20^th April, 2022. In his message to the deacons, the Archbishop stressed on the primary functions of the deacons, to read the Word of God, reflect on the Word of God, to preach the Word of God and first and foremost practice the Word of God in their life.. The seminarians have completed their eight years of formation in the Seminary and will attend the Pastoral Enrichment Course cum Diaconate Ministry Programme at the Pastoral Institute, Old Goa from June 2022.
