Diocesan Family Service Centre celebrated the World Marriage Day
The Diocesan Family Service Centre celebrated the World Marriage Day on 05th February 2023. In order to mark the occasion the Holy Eucharist was celebrated at Guardian Angels Church, Sanvordem at 8 a m. Fr. Albano Fernandes, the Director of DFSC was the main celebrant and Fr. Jovier (Assistant Parish Priest) concelebrated.
During the Mass, after the Gospel, Mr. Vijay and Ulene Borges shared their reflection on the importance of forgiveness and inner healing in the spousal relationship. They brought in their personal experiences of struggles and challenges to forgive one another and highlighted how remaining rooted in Jesus through prayer helps to forgive and heal. They are the staunch members of the Missionary Families of Christ and are hailing from Curtorim. They are happy and proud parents of 5 children.
At the end, the Parish Priest, Fr. Vital, expressed his gratitude for having held this celebration in his Parish which he said will help his Parishioners to uphold the dignity and sanctity of the Sacrament of Marriage.
