Easter Celebrated with great Joy all Over Goa
Easter, the most important Feast in the Christian Calendar, was celebrated with great Joy all over Goa. After 40 days of Lent season involving fasting ,abstinence and spiritual renewal Catholics joyfully attended the Easter Mass in their respective Parishes. Archbishop Filipe Neri Ferrao, during his homily invited Christians to bear witness to the risen Christ by Passing over from Sinfulness to Holiness. A unique feature this year of Easter Night Vigil celebrations was that there were depictions of the resurrection of Jesus Christ in different Parishes. Some presented creatively how Jesus Rose from the dead and forced himself out of the tomb. The Sound and light effects of the Same enhanced the Scene.
