Financial Assistance to the victims of the violence in the State of Manipur

As we are all aware of the unprecedented violence that has taken place in the State of Manipur recently, rendering thousands of people homeless and forsaken. The Archbishop of Imphal, under whose pastoral care the Church in Manipur is placed, has sent out an Appeal for help to the suffering people in his Archdiocese and the President of the Conference of Catholic Bishops of India (our own Cardinal Filipe Neri Ferrao) has endorsed this \’Relief Plea\’ and appealed to all the Dioceses to come out in solidarity and help those affected by the violence in Manipur.
