Lenten Experience \”KHURSAVELE SUSKAR\” Touches Souls at Assagao Church
On March 9, 2024, the Assagao Church reverberated with a profound Lenten experience titled \”KHURSAVELE SUSKAR,\” orchestrated by the Parish youth under the guidance of the Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Carlos Mendes and Youth animator, Rev. Fr. Ramiro Luis. This event, a fusion of light, sound, music, reflection, and meditation, delved into the heart wrenching moments of Jesus through the seven last words on the Cross.
The Parish youth, led by the animator Fr Ramiro Luis, and acts being directed by Melroy Simoes, showcased a display of spiritual depth and artistic mastery. The soul-stirring music, meticulously crafted under the tutelage of Keegan D’Souza with the help of Crescendo Music Teachers enveloped the audience in a transcendent aura, while Chenessa De Souza captivated hearts with her poised compering.
Every detail of the programme, from inception to execution, bore the hallmark of love and dedication, thanks to the leadership and coordination of Cheryl D’Souza.
