Moment of Marian Prayer
The General Secretariat of the Synod in Rome, through its letter dated 28 February, 2023, has requested Episcopal Conferences worldwide to arrange for the celebration of a “Moment of Marian Prayer” on 31st May, 2023 — the liturgical memorial of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary and the conclusion of the Marian Month — in preparation for and prayerful expectation of the XVI Ordinary General Assembly of the Synod of Bishops.
In view of this kindly find attached Circular by His Eminence Archbishop Filipe Neri Cardinal Ferrao, the letter from the Convenor of the main coordinating team for Synod, Fr. Simiao Fernandes and the prayer approved by the Archbishop to be prayed during the month of May in all Parishes and Institutions regarding the \’Moment of Marian Prayer\’ for the month of May 2023. The prayer has been provided in advance to facilitate its publication in the parish bulletins.
