Novena and Feast of Ven. Agnelo Pilar

The commemoration of the 96th death anniversary of Ven. Agnelo de Souza will be celebrated at Pilar on 20th November 2023. The main theme of the celebration is ‘Walking together, in the footsteps of Ven. Agnelo to our sanctification’. The novenas will be held from November 11th to 19th. Each day of the novena is dedicated to praying for a specific purpose.

Novena Masses:
Morning: 5.30, 6.45, 8.00, 9.15 and 10.30
Evening: 4.00, 5.15 and 6.15 (English)

11th Nov (Saturday) is dedicated to the Youth
12th Nov (Sunday) is dedicated to the Family
13th Nov (Monday) is dedicated to the Priests and Religious
14th Nov (Tuesday) is dedicated to Children and Vocation
15th Nov (Wednesday) is dedicated to Civil Leaders
16th Nov (Thursday) is dedicated to the Mission
17th Nov (Friday) is dedicated to the Sick
18th Nov (Saturday) is dedicated to the Environment
19th Nov (Sunday) is dedicated to the Laity

20th Nov Feast Day Masses:
Morning: 5.30, 6.45, 8.00 and 11.30
Evening: 4.00, 5.15 and 6.15 English
The Solemn Mass at 9.30 am will be presided by His Eminence
Most Rev. Filipe Neri Cardinal Ferrão, Archbishop of Archdiocese of Goa and Daman

Night Vigil: 17th Nov from 9.30 pm to 5.30 am by Bro. Edmund Antao.

Special Masses in other languages:
Tamil Mass: 12th Nov (Sun) at 11.30 am in the Pandal
Hindi Mass: 19th Nov (Sun) at 11.30 am in the Seminary Chapel
Malayalam Mass: 19th Nov (Sun) 11.30 am in the Pandal.

A special mass for the sick will be held on 17th Nov at 10.30 am.

Every mass will be followed by a Novena Prayer and Prayer over the Sick. Priests will be available for confessions and counselling.
