Session of Heritage Hour, Trees and Us

MoCA invites you to yet another session of Heritage Hour, Trees and Us by Arti Das on Sunday, 7th August 2022 at 1600hrs (IST).  Arti Das will be speaking about 10 trees which are commonly found in our urban-rural spaces of Goa, the role trees play in our biodiversity and how they are an integral part of our culture, identity, and history.  About the Speaker: Arti Das is a freelance journalist based in Goa. She writes about art, culture, and ecology and has been published in Atlas Obscura, Whetstone Magazine, The Hindu, Scroll.in, Mongabay-India, and locally for Gomantak Times. In March 2020 she started a blog on trees titled, ‘Trees We Love’ where she features and writes about a tree every month.
