Spiritual Recollection titled “REVIVE,” for AICUF Members

On the 6th of September, the AICUF members gathered for a half-day spiritual recollection titled “REVIVE,” aimed at renewing their faith and commitment to God. The event showcased the enthusiastic participation of around 90 students, all eager to deepen the faith in their spiritual journey. 

‘Revive’ began with the First Friday Mass. Fr. Milchester Furtado served as the resource person for the day, guiding participants through insightful reflections and discussions based on Communication with each other and with God .

The programme commenced with Christie and Elisa as the compères, ensuring a smooth flow of events. Shane and Abner energized the group with engaging ice-breakers, setting a positive tone for the day. The Gospel Band, led by Aloma and Vegan, lifted the students’ spirits with inspiring music, helping them connect with God through song and worship. The Dance animators under the leadership of Filiantha kept the participants engaged into the depths of the Animation songs. 

Fr. Ramiro Luis, the convenor of the AICUF, addressed the students, focusing on the spiritual challenges that Catholic students face on campus. Additionally, Sir Worrel D’Souza conducted a workshop that encouraged participants to explore current events in light of the Bible, offering a unique and thought-provoking perspective on integrating faith into daily life.
