St. Xavier’s College Hosts Gender Equity Ideathon

The Department of Sociology in collaboration with Promotion of Gender Equity and Transgender Monitoring Cell held an intra-collegiate event ‘Gender Equity Ideathon’ on 7th Oct 2024. The event started with a short Prayer service followed by the lighting of the traditional lamp. The Vice Principal Asst. Prof. Sandra Fernandes honoured the occasion with her presence and congratulated the Department of Sociology for organising the event. She also complimented the students for participating in the Gender Equity Ideathon event, a step towards challenging gender stereotypes.
