The Archdiocese of Goa and Daman will commemorate the third death anniversary of Archbishop-Patriarch Raul Nicolau Gonsalves with a solemn Eucharistic celebration on Saturday, 5th July 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Cathedral Church in Old Goa. Born on 15 June 1927 and called to eternal rest on 1 July 2022, Archbishop Gonsalves is fondly remembered for his pastoral leadership and spiritual guidance. All the faithful are invited to participate in the Eucharist, offering their prayers and supplications in memory of Archbishop Gonsalves. The liturgy will reflect the promise of eternal life, as echoed in the Gospel of John (11:25): “I am the resurrection and the life. Those who believe in me will live, even though they die.”
