Caranzalem Church conducted a Beach Cleaning Drive on the Occasion of World Tourism Day
The Our Lady of Rosary Church Caranzalem conducted a Beach Cleaning Drive on the Occasion of World Tourism Day, on 27th September, at Caranzalem Beach. In His message the Parish Priest Fr. Pio Almeida highlighted that it is our duty and responsibility to protect nature and avoid habits that destroy it. He urged the parishioners to be responsible citizens and maintain cleanliness wherever they go. While reflecting on Pope Francis\’ encyclical Laudato Si he reminded that we humans are custodians of the world, that we need to care for our common home and should preserve it for the future generations. Before they began with the Beach cleaning a short prayer was said and God\’s blessings were invoked upon everyone.
