Annual Day Concert of the Crescendo Community Centre for Music
The Crescendo community centre for music has been a thriving Musical centre for the past seven years, nurturing and sharing the gift of music with hundreds of students. The centre is home to a group of skilled and humble professional musicians who have successfully taught various instruments, including the violin, the guitar, the trumpet, the ukulele, the keyboard, and the piano. Their expertise lies in classical and pop music genres.
Located near the hill of St. Xavier\’s campus, the music centre has become a beacon of musical education, attracting children and youth from the surrounding villages. Students come to learn and explore their passion for music, benefiting from the guidance and mentorship of experienced musicians.
One of the highlights of the year is the annual day concert, where the centre celebrates the achievements of its students and showcases their musical talents. This event brings together the entire community, creating a sense of joy and pride in the students\’ accomplishments.
This year\’s annual day concert was made even more special by the presence of the renowned Mr. Marwino Da Costa, a prominent figure in the music industry known for his fame and talent. He graced the occasion as the chief guest, inspiring the students with his success story and offering encouragement to pursue their musical dreams.
The visionary behind the music centre\’s success is Fr. Ramiro Luis, who conceptualized and directed the institution. His dedication and passion for music education have been instrumental in shaping the centre\’s curriculum and philosophy. The centre not only focuses on popular music but also places special emphasis on sacred music, producing musicians who go on to serve churches and chapels.
As the Crescendo community centre for music enters its eighth year, it looks forward to continuing its tradition of nurturing talented musicians and spreading the joy of music to even more students in the years to come. The commitment to musical excellence and the passion for sharing music with the world remain the cornerstone of the centre\’s mission.
