The Goa Archdiocesan Division of the World Apostolate of Fatima (WAF) will host the WAF Marian Congress 2025 from 15th to 16th July at the Pilar Pilgrim Centre. Marking the 70th anniversary of WAF in Goa (1954-2024), the event invites the faithful to “Learn – Live – Spread the Message of Fatima” through a residential Marian retreat conducted in both Konkani and English, running from 4pm to 4pm.
The Congress will begin on 15th July with a Eucharistic Celebration led by Fr. Kennet Teles, Episcopal Vicar for South Zone, followed by sessions and spiritual activities. On 16th July, His Eminence Filipe Neri Cardinal Ferrao will preside over the concluding Eucharist.
Prominent speakers include Fr. Jose Fernandes, Fr. Seville Antao (OFM Cap), and Fr. Pio Almeida, Spiritual Advisor to WAF Goa.
Participants will also engage in spiritual moments such as:
- Adoration and Meditative Rosary
- Scapular Investiture
- Veneration of Relics of Sts. Jacinta and Francisco
