A Catechetical event, Day with the Lord 5.0 was organised by the Catechetical Association of Our Lady of Gloria Chapel, Ilha de Rachol. This year it was held on 14 November 2025 in the afternoon at SVD Seminary, Raia. The students were divided into 6 groups, namely, The Stars of Bethlehem, The Jars of Cana, The Scriptures of Jerusalem, The Waters of Jordan, The Fires of Sinai and The Walls of Jericho. The program commenced with a Prayer by the Chaplain, Rev. Fr. Jovial followed by action songs. There were various competitions for the students such as Pop up Card Making, Black and White Tints, Vase Painting, Jubilee Fancy Dress, Mystery Box, Treasure Hunt and Jubilee Cartoon Colouring. The students participated actively, showcasing their talents and skills. After the Snack break, there was Bible Quiz, Fr. Slater (Assist. Parish Priest at Sao Jose de Areal) was the Quiz Master. He also delivered a short and insightful session for the students. The judges for the competitions were Mr. Deron Rodrigues and Mrs. Ruchira Xavier. Keeping up with the enthusiasm there were games conducted, such as Bedsheet Volleyball, Tic-Tac-Toe, Blind Fold, and Pick Me Up and so on. Lastly, the prizes were given to the respected winners of the competitions and Team, The Jars of Cana emerged the overall Winners of the event, followed by the Teams, The Waters of Jordan and The Stars of Bethlehem secured the 1st Runners up and 2nd Runners up positions, respectively.
