North Goa Altar Servers programme at St Xaviers College Campus
The Altar Servers of the North Goa gathered at St Xaviers College Campus as the VCDC in collaboration with MAGIS, an youth group animated by Fr Ramiro organised a powerpacked programme. Fr Xavier Estibeiro , the main celebrant of the Mass, highlighted the mission of the Altar Servers and exhorted them to get close to Jesus through the special ministry.
MAGIS animated the 300 Altar Servers with Action songs. A meaningful talk on the theme, Come follow me, was delivered by Mr Sigmund Dias. In the afternoon session, the Altar Servers but divided into 10 groups and were led to a Walk of knowledge. The Walk of knowledge Gave a glimpse of 10 skills to the Altar service. The children were filled with a lot of knowledge through the entire day.
Fr Caitan Fernandes, the dean of Mapusa Deanery, expressed his joy over the event and the gathering. Fr Denrish, Fr Valeriano, Deac Movin, Fr Francisco and Fr Tony Salema accompanied the Altar servers joyfully.
