Every year legionnaires under Raia Comitium held their annual get-together and reunion, called “Mellnni ani Bhonvddi” of legionnaires on 19th of December. This year it was held at Rod’s Farm, Nuvem. The day began with the Introductory prayer and Mrs. Lucia D’silva (President, Raia Comitium) welcoming the legionnaires. Following was a Jubliee Reflection by Miss. Vania Vaz (Secretary, Raia Comitium). She emphasised on how Cross became a symbol of Hope and further, laid importance on the 4 foundational characteristics of the Early Church, how each of those connected in the lives and role of a legionnaire. After that was a tea break and to make the mood cheerful, Housie was played. Later legionnaires got into their group discussions, and thereafter, lunch was served. Mr. Nicolau Olivera (Treasurer, Raia Comitium) graced the meals with the prayer. A short break time was given. To keep up with the fun and enthusiastic spirit, games were conducted. Apostlanchi Rannie Junior Legion of Mary group of Ilha de Rachol presented Christmas Carols. The President delivered a message on Christmas. She highlighted that Christ should be born within ourselves and continue to be pilgrims of Hope. Mr. Stefan Dias delivered Vote of thanks, and ending the day with Concluding prayer.
