Patriotism and Harmony came alive during a Sadbhavna Programme organized by ‘Sadbhav’ at St. Michael’s Convent High School, Anjuna, on the occasion of Independence Day. The entire programme with the theme “One India, Many Faiths” echoed the spirit of Muhammad Iqbal song “Saare Jahan Se Achcha”. It invited everyone gathered to love one’s country, respect its culture and heritage and live in brotherhood and unity with all citizens.

Elvis Fernandes, the convenor of Sadbhav, a forum for fostering dialogue and harmony delivered a thought-provoking address emphasising the need to uphold the values of harmony and integrity in a nation enriched by its diversity. He said that “all faiths teach us to do good and work together for the common good”
