The All India Catholic University Federation (AICUF) unit of St. Xavier’s College, Mapusa, successfully completed a spiritual initiative of offering 500 decades of the Most Holy Rosary. This prayer campaign was organized in solidarity with the nuns who faced harassments and the various other persecutions Christians are facing , as an expression of faith, unity, and commitment to justice and peace.
AICUF members, along with students of St. Xavier’s College, wholeheartedly participated in this endeavour. Each student was encouraged to involve their families in the prayer chain, thus extending the intercession into the wider community and strengthening the spirit of collective prayer.
This initiative was spearheaded by AICUF member Taresh Mendes, whose leadership inspired the members to join hands in this act of faith. The campaign was marked by deep devotion and reflected the members’ firm belief in building and safeguarding the country through spiritual solidarity and active concern for the persecuted.
