Sant Xavier Vidyalaya, Korgao, will organise its 5th Annual Plant Festival – Exhibition Cum Sale on 8th and 9th August 2026 at the School Hall. The festival, centred on the theme “Cultivating a Sustainable Future,” aims to promote environmental awareness and sustainable living through a variety of exhibits and activities.
The festival will be inaugurated on Saturday, 8th August, at 9:00 a.m. Visitors can explore the exhibition from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday and from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday.
The event will feature an exhibition of flowering, ornamental, medicinal, indoor and outdoor plants, along with the sale of quality saplings and native plants. Organic manure, cocopeat and gardening essentials will also be available for purchase. In addition, there will be inter-school competitions, prize distribution, and a sale of local items, making it an engaging event for plant lovers, students, and the wider community.
The school invites everyone to participate in the festival and support the message of environmental stewardship by embracing greener and more sustainable lifestyles.
