THUNDER 2022
Our Lady of Rosary Church, Navelim organized a program entitled \”THUNDER\” on 15th August on the occasion of feast of Our Lady of Assumption and Independence Day from 11am onwards, at Rosary School premises, Navelim. The event was organised by the Youth of Navelim under the guidance of Parish priest Fr. Gabriel Countinho and under the leadership of Youth Animator Fr. Dylon D\’Costa (Asst.Parish Priest). There were inter ward competitions and everyone participated with great zeal and enthusiasm.
The Event featured a variety of programs for different age groups and was a great platform to showcase their talents. The aim of the event was to come together, work together and achieve great things. Different items include 6 a-side football for boys, 3 a-side tiebreaker for girls, Tug of war for males and females, Tennikoit for women, Breaking the coconut for Men, Face painting, Pastoral theme Rangoli competition, traditional sweet dish making, ward flag, Instagram reel of ward and lots more. The victorious ward was Sinquetim followed by Dialgona and Central Horta. Indeed it was a thunderous event for all parishioners of Navelim as well as the others.
