The Diocesan Centre for Biblical Apostolate has announced the Western Regional Bible Quiz for catechism children, focusing on the Pentateuch—the first five books of the Bible: Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy through which two participants will be selected to represent the Archdiocese at the regional level.
Children who have not yet received the Sacrament of Confirmation and who are born on or after 1 May 2012 are eligible to participate. The quiz will be conducted in three stages: Parish Level (12 July 2026), Deanery Level (on or before 9 August 2026), and Diocesan Level (30 August 2026). The initiative aims to encourage children and youth to deepen their knowledge and love of Sacred Scripture.
Deanery Priest Coordinators will assist in conducting and monitoring the quiz at both the parish and deanery levels.
