As part of the June catechetical theme, “Abide in Me” (Mhoje Sovem Rigun Ravat), the Catechetical Association of Our Lady of Candelaria Church, Baina, organized a Drawing and Colouring Activity on 7th June 2026. The activity was based on the theme “Jesus is the Vine and We are the Branches.”
Students from Pre-Communion to Class III participated in the Colouring Activity, while students from Classes IV to VIII enthusiastically took part in the Drawing Activity. Through their artwork, the children beautifully expressed their understanding of the theme and reflected on the importance of remaining connected to Jesus, the True Vine.
The activity witnessed active participation from the students, who displayed creativity, enthusiasm, and a deep appreciation of the message conveyed through the theme. It provided an engaging and meaningful way for the children to begin the new catechetical year while strengthening their faith.
The programme was successfully coordinated by Tr. Aurora Monteiro and Tr. Sushanti Monteiro, with the support and cooperation of the catechists.
The activity was well received by all and served as an inspiring and faith-filled beginning to the catechetical year at Our Lady of Candelaria Church, Baina.
