Mother’s Day was joyfully celebrated at St. Rita’s Parish, Camurlim (North Goa) on the 8th of September. The PPC members organised and led the liturgy for the evening Mass.
After Mass, we honoured our Blessed Mother by cutting a beautifully prepared cake and singing together with all the mothers present.
The catechism children presented a short skit highlighting a mother’s love, followed by a group song and a graceful mother–daughter dance. One of our PPC members also shared a few words on the love, sacrifice, and dedication of mothers.
To conclude the celebration, snacks were served, and our Parish Priest, Fr. Francis Fernandes, presented each married lady with a red rose as a token of appreciation.
