Van Mahotsav 2025 was marked by unique and faith-filled celebrations across several parishes in Goa, turning environmental care into a mission of love, learning, and responsibility. Here are some of the parishes that brought this vision to life:
1. St. John the Baptist Church, Pilerne: Catechism children joyfully exchanged flowering plants with friends, symbolizing sharing, growth, and communion with nature.

2. St. Francis Xavier Church, Chicalim: Catechism children took part in “My Plant, My Responsibility,” caring for their own plants over two weeks. They brought them in a special procession for Mass, where Fr. Bolmax Pereira blessed the plants and encouraged everyone to become “Green Guardians.” The celebration included eco-themed prayers, a symbolic paper tree, and seed distribution.

3. St. Christopher Church, Tivim: The parish youth organized a plantation drive in the church backyard. The event began with a prayer service and land blessing led by Fr. Francisco Fernandes. Youth members, along with the priest, planted saplings as a sign of growth, commitment, and hope for a greener future.
