Holy Trinity Church, Benaulim, is gearing up to celebrate the feast of Our Lady of Livramento on 15th November, 2026, with a series of religious programmes, novenas, special Masses and traditional celebrations.
The celebrations commenced with the Maddi on 5th November at 4.00 p.m., followed by a solemn Mass celebrated by Most Rev. Auxiliary Bishop Simiao Purificação Fernandes.
The novena services are being held from November 6th to 14th. The morning programme includes the Rosary at 6.10 a.m., followed by Mass at 6.30 a.m. and a second Mass at 8.00 a.m. The evening programme begins with the Rosary at 5.30 p.m., followed by Mass.
On Sunday, November 8th, additional Masses will be held, with the morning schedule including the Rosary at 6.10 a.m., followed by Masses at 6.30 a.m., 8.00 a.m. and 9.15 a.m. The evening Rosary and Mass will be held at 5.30 p.m.
A special highlight of the celebrations will be the traditional kissing of Our Lady’s statue on November 13th and 14th, from 9.00 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. A special Mass for the old and sick will also be celebrated on 13th November at 10 a.m.
The feast day on November 15th will feature three morning Masses at 6.00 a.m., 8.15 a.m. and 9.45 a.m. The main celebrant will be Fr. Maverick Fernandes, Director of Caritas-Goa. The evening celebrations will include a Tiatr performance at 7.00 p.m.
